Twelfth Night Review:
"There are some fabulous physical comedians in this cast, including Jon Peacock as Sir Andrew Aguecheek. Peacock doesn’t force the jokes out of his character. He let’s the ignorance of the character speak for itself."

I am playing Duke Orsino in Twelfth Night with Southwest Shakespeare Company, in Mesa, Arizona!
A deliciously dark comedy of mistaken identities and misdirected passions. TWELFTH NIGHT offers a touchingly human celebration of the delights and agonies of love, pride and celebration. Lovers and misfits, clowns and gentry collide in an entertaining cocktail of comic confusion.
The vain and authoritarian Malvolio has commanded that there “shall be no more cakes and ale”, but he is taken in when a plot is hatched to fool him into thinking the lady of the house is in love with him. “With hey, ho, the wind and the rain,” join us in Illyria for this most romantic of Shakespeare’s comedies.

The Colonial Theatre's Shakespeare in the Park: Henry V I am Michael Williams, a base English soldier who is the only character to personally challenge King Henry and his ideals. I am also a French soldier, Monsieur la Fer, wounded in battle, found by Pistol, and hilarity ensues! Starring as Henry V is Colin Ryan of Broadway's No Man's Land; this is a fantastic production of a fantastic play! About PHASE II: 365 Women a Year: A Playwriting Project
When it comes to documenting his-tory, men have always had the upper hand. Until now! Our goal is to bring 365 women a year from out of the shadows and give their stories the credit they deserve.
About the Project:
365 Women a Year: A Playwriting Project is a playwriting coalition involving more than 200 women writers from across the globe. Each woman has signed on to write one or more short plays about
extraordinary women of the past and present. Our goals are to write women into the social consciousness, to empower and promote female playwrights, and to plant seeds of herstory around
the country and the world.
365 Women a Year short-play festivals have been happening around the world. We are currently reaching out to a variety of theater venues to promote productions and readings of our plays. We are looking to partner with sister organizations to further our goals.

Little Rock: An American Play Written & directed by Rajendra Ramoon Maharaj. They never planned to be change agents, and they didn’t consider themselves heroes. They just wanted to go to school. Told in music and memory, the courageous story of the nine black students who fought for integration at Little Rock Central High School in 1957 hurtles from present to past, tragedy to triumph. I played Arkansan Track #8, performing eleven characters for this epic story, including President Bill Clinton, President Dwight D. Eisenhower, Governor Faubus, and Tennessee Williams. October 2-2 November Thursday-Saturday @ 8p; Sunday @ 3p Tickets $30 ($35 Saturday night). Student, senior and group discounts available by calling 609-392-0766 Little Rock is presented by Passage Theatre Company in association with Rebel Theatrical Management, LLC. Little Rock was extended another weekend! We now close Sunday, Nov 2nd! |

Little Rock: An American Play was reviewed by CurtainUp.com's New Jersey Theater Review.
Playing the Governor who brought in the state national guard to stop the integration of the Little Rock Nine, Gov. Faubus,
it was an honor to be told that my remarks sent chills down the reviewer's spine.
Another review, by CentralJersey.com, mentioned several of the eleven characters I play throughout the show.
Our Third review, by Phindie.com - Philadelphia's Indie Scene - which highlights a very in-depth review by Neal Zoren (NealsPaper).

THE PHYSICISTS
For this project, I am taking on the lead as Johann Wilhelm Möbius, who claims to be visited by King Solomon, and who may be the greatest physicists of all time.
***
Columbia Stages is proud to present THE PHYSICISTS, an MFA Directing thesis production, written by Friedrich Dürrenmatt, translated by James Kirkup, directed by Sina Heiss. THE PHYSICISTS will open at The Connelly and run from January 22-25, 2014.
This Swiss play was written in the early 1960s, during the Cold War, under the looming danger of a devastating nuclear attack. Durrenmatt brings his characters to life in a home for the mentally ill and with a good sense of black humor, investigates how people behave within social confinements and their power politics.
In the well-funded asylum Les Cerisiers, nurses have recently been meeting violent deaths. The assailants are two lunatics who believe themselves to be Newton and Einstein and their fellow inmate, Johann Wilhelm Möbius, knows more than he is willing to share . . .

10 Actors. 10 Writers. 2 Continents. 2 Live Audiences.
What’s it all about?
As part of our mission, the Break-Away Project work toward creating links between Irish and American artists, regularly showcasing work by American artists here in Ireland and developing showcase opportunities for Irish artists in America. We are developing this project to test the boundaries of technology, using Skype to facilitate artistic collaborations that would otherwise not be feasible.
Five actors and five writers are selected in Ireland to take part in the project, while five actors and five writers based in America are also chosen.

I was one of the fans you needed to sift through to find those lucky tickets. Now that the contest is over, below is a glimpse of what contestants were finding. For more of these fun shots, go to my production photos page.

Hamlet
Corruption and espionage prevail at Castle Elsinore, where beloved Prince Hamlet has been burdened with the unenviable task of avenging his father's "foul and unnatural murder." Featuring a contemporary sensibility and distilled relevancy, Shakespeare's timeless meditation on mortality and morality is as mesmerizing in 2013 as it was over 400 years ago.
Ophelia Theatre Group is presenting Shakespeare's classic work, Hamlet, at the Astoria Boys & Girls Club: 21st Street & 30th Road. I play the Ghost/Player King, and set the stage for death and the downfall of a royal family with my own death and need for revenge!
Where:
Variety Boys and Girls Club of Queens
